The Alliance is dedicated to serving the community by providing the highest quality nonjudgmental care. We do this through our testing, food pantry, and CLEAR program as well as various support groups. We believe that treating people with dignity and love is the best medicine.
Healing with CAARE
Healing with CAARE’s mission is to provide effective prevention and case management services to at-risk persons and their families in Durham by referring health and social resources that can alleviate isolation yet foster independence; to empower the population with preventative health education, counseling, and testing by establishing and maintaining networks and utilizing resources that address the health and social needs of the community ; and to provide decent housing that is affordable to low- to moderate-income people.
LGBT Center of Raleigh
To strengthen individual and community development through social and educational activities; to facilitate the incubation of supportive services and groups; and to identify needs and advocate for resources benefiting the diverse population of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, their friends and supporters within and beyond central North Carolina.
NCAAN (North Carolina AIDS Action Network)
The North Carolina AIDS Action Network improves the lives of people living with HIV & AIDS and affected communities through outreach and public education, policy advocacy, and community-building to increase visibility and mutual support of people living with HIV & AIDS throughout our state.
RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network), Inc
RAIN, formerly known as the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network, ensures access to quality, personalized care in a nurturing environment for individuals and their families who are living with HIV and associated chronic conditions so they may live healthier fulfilled lives.
Through education and advocacy, RAIN promotes disease prevention, understanding, and dignity for those affected by HIV and for those who are at risk.
Western North Carolina AIDS Project Inc
The Western North Carolina AIDS Project (WNCAP) is dedicated to preventing new cases of HIV/AIDS and promoting self-sufficiency in people living with HIV. WNCAP provides HIV-related client support, prevention, education and advocacy activities guided by the belief that all people are entitled to equal access to health care.
